What an absolute pleasure it was to spend a night at this Stellenbosch gem. The moment you step onto the grounds you realise why they won the Conde Nast Best Design Hotel 2017.
Majeka house is situated in the heart of Stellenbosch and stay true to the warm South African hospitality we all love.
The hotel is strategically situated to make you feel you are secluded from the outside world (it is so peaceful), but in fact you are a few minutes away per car from the Stellenbosch center.
After check-in we headed straight to the bar for cocktail hour and we were pleasantly surprised with the ambience and great selection of cocktails on the menu.
The rooms are spacious and luxurious so be prepared to have a sound peaceful sleep.
On the grounds there is a beautiful garden and stunning indoor pool that looks inviting to say the least. You can spend your day lounging around in the garden/patio area or in/around the pool.
The breakfast buffet is appetizing and the hot breakfast menu will leave your mouth watering.
Doing a review sometimes leaves one critical and looking for fault/issues to mention, however truth be told there was none.
Everything was perfect and truly comes highly recommended for your next Stellenbosch home away from home stay.
