Without a doubt the Creamery caters to all tastebuds, from flavours like peanut butter, apple crumble pudding, salted caramel to blueberry cheesecake. Gelato Mania
Theres a few branches situated around the mother city, but the store in Green Point is buzzing. As the name explains itself, they focus on gelato rather than traditional ice cream. The are a variety of flavours and might I add, interesting, such as bar one, chocolate hazelnut, turkish delight, cookie & milk and way more. Yoghurt gelato and fruit sorbets are also offered, along with special options for banting and diabetics. Ingredients are all natural, with many being imported from Italy.
Cold Gold Artisan Ice Cream & Sorbet
Cold Gold is an awesome choice for those heading out to the Cape Winelands, being situated in Stellenbosch. All ice creams are handmade, using seasonal ingredients and sourced locally from farms in the area. Therefore the menu changes weekly to what is available. Many flavours to choose from, what’s quite unique, the ice creams can also be made for specific dietary restrictions. Flavours include toasted coconut, white chocolate & cognac and lime tart. There are banting, vegan, paleo, low carb and diabetic friendly variations on the classic favourites.

On Hout Bay Harbour, you will find the lovely ice cream shop, Sinnfull – a good variety of flavours. The handmade ice cream and sorbet specialising in unique flavours. Be sure to look out for the classics such as english toffee, nutella, cookies & cream and many more delightful choices.
Sorbetière
Sorbetière has a unique approach to frozen desserts that reveals tastful ice cream and sorbet. The flavours are kept quite simple and seasonal with no unnatural additives, flavourings or colourants. This ice cream truck is the brainchild of two sisters that aims to bring the fun back into ice cream. Being situated in the perfect place of the Waterfront’s Watershed Market where you could cool down and indulge with a delicious ice cream sandwich. The cookies are freshly backed every day and then filled with authentic Italian ice cream.
Häagen-Dazs
Their passion is for creating the perfect flavour and creamiest texture with only using the finest ingredients. One of the first ice-cream houses to come up with decadent flavours such as cookies & cream, chocolate pralines and caramel, it’s paved the way for the best gelato in town.
Las Paletas
These artisanal fruit ice lollies are made by hand with using only real dairy and fresh fruit, no artificial colourants or additives. We admire the exotic fruity flavour combinations, such as the coconut lemonade, watermelon & mint and pineapple & chilli.
